After agonising over our introductory paragraph thing, we failed to come up with anything more witty and impresssive than 'Welcome to Compact Pussycat's website'. There's a lot of history to the band, learn all about where we came from in our archive section. There are lots of pretty pictures in the gallery. Some songs and lyrics to download in the music bit. Blimey over four months into the year already! The CD sales of Red, Amber, Go! are going well and we've had to print off loads more already. We have some gigs in Manchester, Nottingham as well as some pretty good ones in Norwich in the pipeline, so if you live those areas, keep your eyes peeled and come along. Also, if you can recommend ant venues / promoters in your area please get in touch. We have a couple of new songs finished and gig ready: All For One and Automated Voice, plus another new cover - we have got bored with the old ones. In March we started a video for Filthy, which is not quite finished yet but when it is it will be on this website, MySpace and YouTube. How exciting!! Mind you, we might end up looking like idiots, but at least it will give you something to have a laugh at! The archive and gallery section of the website has been updated with more info and pics - go have a peek. So for now, keep in touch via MySpace and let us know your general comments and observations.
We have played a few gigs recently so a few thank you's are in order. Firstly thanks everyone who turned out to all the gigs and all the lovely messages and comments you have sent us, it's so nice to get them. Thanks to Hotwired for putting a few gigs our way, you know we love ya! A great big Compact Pussycat kiss to N3M Northern Music for the Leeds gig in April everyone there were totally lovely people. Go and check out a really cool girl Leesa Mae, she is really awesome (and very nice to boot). Thanks also to John Fry and Gibbo for the King Eddie gigs (UK Subs in May and the Vibrators one in August) and B2 in Norwich for their continued support of our band.

My Scene EP was released in September 2007 and is still available for £3!! The track listing is Ticking Bomb, My Scene, Done It Again and Inside Out. Fade out versions are in our music section so you can have a little taster of all the songs.
